Science Olympiads practice hands-on science activities, so they can compete in the Science Olympiad competition! These competitions start in middle school!! But we can start practicing now, so you can be a winning Science Olympiad in the 6th grade!
We will learn science by doing science! Hands-on, inquiry-based activities that challengeYou will build your understanding of basic scientific concepts, like measurement, force, engineering design, and energy. Each session we will focus on a new event! These include, Aerodynamics, Bottle Music, Don’t Bug Me, Gummy Bear Long Jump, Metric Mastery, Monster Match, Operation Egg Drop, Rock Hound, Straw Tower and Write It Do It and more.
