Young entrepreneurs, get ready to turn your ideas into action! In this hands-on class, students will explore the exciting world of business through UMC’s Mini Market experience. Students will create their own business or product while learning age-appropriate skills in money management, budgeting, pricing, profit, branding, advertising, customer service, and sales.
Through interactive games, creative projects, and real-world business challenges, students will learn what it takes to take an idea from concept to market. They’ll design a business name and logo, develop and price products, practice making change, create advertisements, and build confidence pitching and selling their ideas.
The program concludes with a fun Mini Market experience, where our young entrepreneurs can put their new skills into action!
No prior business experience or required purchases from home are needed. UMC provides the core materials—students just need to bring their creativity and big ideas!
