What makes a light turn on? What is hiding inside a flashlight? Circuit Sparks puts those questions in students' hands and lets them build the answers.

Starting with paper circuits, students design glowing art projects using copper tape, coin batteries, and LEDs — turning a blank sheet of cardstock into a lit-up night sky, a glowing greeting card, or a scene entirely of their own invention. They build switches from scratch, test everyday materials to discover what conducts electricity, and learn to troubleshoot when a circuit does not behave.

In the second half of the program, students snap together real electronic components — buzzers, switches, LEDs — to engineer working flashlights and original inventions. Every lesson builds directly on the last, so skills stack fast and confidence grows with every successful build.

Part art class, part engineering lab, Circuit Sparks sends students home with glowing projects, a light-up card, and a real understanding of the technology powering the world around them. No experience needed!
